．Nikasil(Ceramic) Coating Alloy Aluminum Cylinder

　　In 1967, the technology of nikasil(ceramic) coating alloy aluminum cylinder was developed. The engine designs for car, such as BMW, FERRARI, PORSCHE, JAGUAR, LOTUS, and motorcycle, such as APRILIA, HONDA, YAMAHA, SUSUKI, have adopted nikasil(ceramic) coating cylinders. In Taiwan, the cylinder designs of motorcycle manufacturers adopted nikasil(ceramic) coating since 2000. In addition to the excellent performances of mechanical features of engine, due to the concerns of environmental protection, the chromium plated cylinders in the engine of lawnmower, chain saw, and so on are also gradually replaced by nikasil(ceramic) coating cylinder. In 2001, due to the transform and development in the market, a nikasil(ceramic) coating unit was established in the chromium plating department.
